Mapletree’s innovative flagship development, MBC sets a new benchmark for business space in Singapore and beyond. Incorporating a “city” concept where modern business space is situated in a garden setting, MBC is further served by comprehensive amenities and facilities to meet the needs of modern businesses. Added vibrancy comes from its resident art installations and regular themed events which are held on premise.

Building on the success of MBC in attracting premium tenants, Mapletree is currently developing MBC II, which will offer the same value proposition – a cost-effective solution for companies seeking quality business space outside the city centre. MBC II will comprise a 30-storey tower that terraces down to eight-, six- and five-storey blocks, offering a total of over 1.1 million sq ft NLA. MBC II will also be well represented by a new cluster of F&B offerings.

  • The first phase of MBC was completed in 2010, and its second phase will further push boundaries. It will feature Singapore’s tallest business park building and added sustainability features along with more sporting and recreational facilities to complement those currently available at MBC.

  • A strong testament to MBC’s success in blending aesthetics and functionality is that many global companies now call it home. MBC II is slated for completion in 2016, and will further entrench MBC as one of the most dynamic integrated business hubs in Singapore.

  • The MBC concept has also been exported overseas to Shanghai, China. MBC Shanghai is located in the Minhang district and when completed, it will cater to the growing demand for quality business space from multinational corporations and large domestic companies in China.

MBC 10, 20, 30

Making up the initial phase of the development are MBC blocks 10, 20 and 30, which offer a combined area of more than 1.72 million sq ft in net lettable area (NLA) and each block offering panoramic sea views.

MBC 10

MBC 10 provides Grade-A office space characterised by large, column-free floor plates accompanied by high ceilings – which allow abundant natural light to flow in and brighten the office. Lavish greenery adds to the sophisticated and yet welcoming ambience of the lift lobby. Strategically positioned, MBC 10 further affords breathtaking views of the sea.

MBC 20E, 20W and 30

MBC 20E, 20W and 30 comprise the business space component of this development and they are located close to MBC 10 thus making it an ideal location for support operations. MBC 30 offers broad frontage with a commanding sea view, while MBC 20E and 20W are linked from the 10th storey upwards to allow for a large contiguous column-free floor plate in excess of 60,000 sq ft.

MBC 10, 20E, 20W and 30 are furthermore directly accessible to a first-rate business amenities complex which houses a multipurpose hall space, seminar and meeting rooms, all designed to accommodate company meetings and events of varying sizes and formats.

Mapletree’s commitment to environmentally sustainable designs has helped our tenants achieve significant energy and cost savings.

MBC has garnered local and international recognition for its eco-friendly design and building sustainability. Aided by its energy efficient features, tenants like American Express, HSBC and Unilever have attained the Singapore Building and Construction Authority’s (BCA) Green Mark certification for their office interiors.

MBC II will have enhanced features that can reduce electricity use by as much as 8.6 million kWh a year, equivalent to the electricity needs of over 1,500* Singapore households in a year.

Key will be MBC II’s high performance façade, which reduces heat transfer and lowers air-conditioning and energy consumption.

The integrated business hub will further feature 48 eco-friendly parking lots and 194 bicycle lots to encourage more environmentally-friendly modes of commuting.

Mapletree is further mindful to ensure its premises are user-friendly and fully accessible and MBC was given the BCA Universal Design Gold Plus award.
